Something to Fill the Spaces Between is a series of five screenprints created post pandemic. I made these prints with the idea of making something to bridge the gap in my studio practice from COVID-19 and undergrad. The broken circle shapes used in these prints are from failed experiments during lockdown. I used 3 different gray inks with various levels of translucency to create the bubbling frenzy. The shapes cluster and collect in different positions around the prints. Some bits even escape the frenzy to float alone.
